Online Public Speaking Coaching

Personalized online public speaking coaching with me, Ron Ben-Joseph, a Broadway-trained theater director. My coaching is tailored for leaders across professional services in the United States. We use interview-style sessions that rework your performance until your speech sounds like the person your clients know and love.

30 minutes, free, and we will have done real work by the end.

What is public speaking coaching?

One-on-one training in which a coach helps you build the verbal and communication tools you need to pitch to the right people and convince them of your value as a subject matter expert. You bring a real talk, pitch, or presentation. The coach names what is working, cuts what is not, and rehearses it with you until you can deliver it without notes.

My clients receive invitations to paid speaking engagements, slots at larger conferences, workshops and retreats that fill, new business partnerships, higher annual revenue, and roles won on Broadway and on camera. If you want to see the full range of what I do beyond public speaking, start with my coaching and communication services.

How does online public speaking coaching work?

My approach is personalized and performance driven. I direct. Whatever the objective is, a keynote, a virtual or in-person training, a board update, or a podcast episode, we run it live. You speak, I stop you, I name what I see without judgment, and we go again. I coach from strengths rather than from a list of your flaws, which is the most effective approach to eliminating insecurities naturally.

Mindset

We deal with what is happening in your body and your head before we update your content. Like great performers, we learn self-regulation first, because everything else will fall into place.

Message

We find the one thing your audience needs to hear, and cut all other claims that compete with it. Tailored communication for your audience elicits trust and future workshop attendance.

Momentum

We rehearse until the speech is yours instead of memorized, so you can adapt in the moment rather than recite. This is where our theater and strength-based techniques become invaluable.

On-camera work and media training for executives

Directing for the camera is where I began. If your high-stakes moment happens through a lens, a webinar, a podcast guest spot, a recorded training, or a press interview, we coach your on-camera presence the same way: one-on-one, iterative, take by take.

Media training for executives and expert practitioners runs on the identical structure as my speaking work.

Questions clients ask

What does an online public speaking coach cost?

Most engagements run four sessions a month. I will provide a quote on our call. Our work is focused on your strengths, with directional language used to help you feel most comfortable throughout.

Yes, and for most clients it offers greater flexibility for busy schedules. Most of the speaking you are preparing for now happens on camera or to a hybrid room, so rehearsing in the same medium is ideal prep work.

Most clients feel the shift in how they perform and react to performance anxiety within the first session, because we work on something real rather than on exercises. My client, Ellen, built and delivered her talk within three weeks.

Anyone looking for a script to memorize, a group program, or a certificate. My work is not formula-driven, it’s based on your individual communication style, personal goals, and comfort level.
